The Love Family Alumni — North America Zone is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and data integrity of our members, alumni, and donors.

Client Governance Notice: This privacy policy establishes the data handling and confidentiality principles approved for The Love Family Alumni — North America Zone. In keeping with strict privacy safeguards, members maintain explicit control over what personal information is visible in the Alumni Directory.

1. Information We Collect

When you register as an alumnus, pay annual membership dues, apply for the Akpo Family Scholarship, register for the 2027 Conference, or contribute to alumni funds, we may collect:

  • Identity & Contact Details: Full name, email address, telephone number, residential address (city, state, country), and profile photograph.
  • Alumni Affiliation: UNIBEN attendance details, graduation year, chapter connection, and Love Family campus fellowship memories.
  • Professional Information: Profession, industry, company or business name, areas of professional expertise, and business website.
  • Membership & Dues Records: Membership status, payment receipts, transaction history, annual dues standing, and period validity.
  • Privacy Preferences: Explicit visibility choices for directory listings (Public, Members Only, or Completely Private).

2. How We Use Member Information

Information gathered by The Love Family Alumni is used exclusively to serve our alumni community and fulfill the mission of the North America Zone, including:

  • Maintaining official alumni rolls and issuing digital Alumni ID credentials.
  • Administering annual membership dues ($100) and providing verifiable transaction receipts.
  • Facilitating fellowship, organizing the biennial 2027 Conference ("Thy Kingdom Come"), and chapter events.
  • Evaluating and administering Akpo Family Scholarship applications through authorized committees.
  • Distributing newsletters, announcements, and important community notices.

3. Directory Privacy & Consent

We deeply respect member privacy. Under our directory governance rules:

  • Zero Public Disclosure of Private Contacts: Personal phone numbers, physical residential addresses, and private personal emails are never published in public search without explicit member consent.
  • Privacy Tiers: Members may set their profile visibility to Public (visible in alumni directory), Members Only (requires member portal login), or Private (hidden from all directories, visible to zonal administrators only for dues and records).

4. Financial Data & Payment Security

The Love Family Alumni does not store sensitive payment card details, bank routing numbers, or credentials on this website. All online membership dues and donation processing will be handled via certified payment gateways (e.g. PayPal, Pushpay, or designated processors). No sensitive Chase bank account credentials are displayed or exposed.

5. Data Retention & Member Rights

Members have the right to inspect, update, or request the removal of their profile information at any time via the Member Dashboard or by contacting the Secretariat at lovefamilyalumni.na@gmail.com.
